Hey! My name is Kimberly Cook, a self-taught artist based in Macon, Georgia. I graduated this past year in 2022 at Middle Georgia State University with a Business Administration/ Marketing degree. During my sophomore year of college, I decided to pick up art again as close friends needed some artwork done. I went from painting on clothing, to creating graphics, and now to portraits on canvas! Best decision ever, my favorite hobby quickly turned into my career.

During my “off-time” from art, I spend a lot of my time in the gym. I love lifting heavy, becoming a stronger version of me, and having that routine of fitness and art. To get in the zone, I’ve created many playlists from Lil Baby to Morgan Wallen to The Lumineers. And constantly listening to these artists, I get inspired. From grasping their mood, style, and sound, I find a way to portray that through my acrylics and canvases.

With my love for painting, I hope to inspire others to create and to pursue their passion. I share lots of painting content on Instagram and Tiktok, showing progress, used materials, and completed pieces through videos and pictures.

Furthermore, I’ve focused on portraits since I’ve started and have stuck to that; although, willing to experience more and create variety by accepting commissions from you.
